Banter Supervision is for speech pathologists in private practice who want additional support to accelerate their professional and clinical growth with practical advice, tools and training.

Vivien Wong

Senior Speech Pathologist
As a supervisor, Vivien acknowledges what a privilege it is to journey with other clinicians, and to equip them with the knowledge, skills, and empathy to provide holistic and client-centred care.

Clinically, Vivien’s special interests include supporting bilingual clients and families; working with clients with selective mutism; partnering with young adults to achieve their participation related goals; and supporting professionals to further their professional communication skills.

Juliana Li

Senior Speech Pathologist
As a supervisor, Juliana is driven to resource and uplift clinicians, and support the development of their advocacy skills as they work towards ‘the big picture’ in client care.

As a clinician, Juliana’s special interests include neurodiversity-affirming practice across the lifespan; supporting oral and written language development; helping clients with severe speech sound disorders including childhood apraxia of speech (CAS); and delivering peer-mediated communication opportunities for people of all ages to increase their social inclusion.

Sasha Sugita

Senior Speech Pathologist
Sasha’s special interests include supporting adults with communication disorders, including neurodegenerative disorders and acquired brain injuries; providing Lee Silverman Voice Training (LSVT) Loud® treatment to adults with Parkinson’s disease and neurological conditions; working with clients with language and literacy difficulties; helping preschoolers be school-ready and providing parent training; and working with clients with complex communication needs by providing individualised, evidence-based practices.

David Kinnane

Principal Speech Pathologist
David is a speech pathologist, lawyer, and clinic owner with over 25 years of professional experience across a range of industries and organisations.

As a supervisor, he is passionate about supporting speech pathologists to back themselves to enjoy long, interesting, and fulfilling careers.

As a front-line clinician, he has special interests in Developmental Language Disorder, literacy, stuttering, Parkinson’s disease, disability rights, and plain English knowledge translation.
