It’s very common for children with language learning impairments and children learning English as a second language to struggle with subjective pronouns and:
- have (first and second person present tense verb for possession), e.g. “I have a car.”, “You have a car.”;
- has (third person present tense verb for possession), e.g. “He has a car.”, “She has a car.”; and
- have (third person present tense verb for possession by more than one person), e.g. “They have a car.”
